About this Artwork:

This artwork is based on an IBM System/360 Core Memory Plane. This board was from an IBM System/360 model 25 mainframe computer. This board dates from about 1968, 50 years ago. It contains 16,384 cores, or 16Kb, of memory. The board is mounted over the metalized silver foil to provide better lighting and views of the core. This core plane would make a great companion piece to the IBM System/360 processor card that I also have listed.

Framing:  

The artwork is framed in an 8"x10" black shadow box frame, with glass. All framing materials are acid-free. A narrative about the artwork that includes the artist’s signature is placed on the back of the artwork.
