Computer Bug, "The Firefly"
About this Artwork:
Computorus Insecti (Computer Bugs) are a fact of life for programmers. Although we encounter them and feel their wrath, we never get to see what they actually look like. Here is a computer bug for your viewing pleasure. The bug is a tiny sculpture made from recycled computer components. The bug comes with its Latin name (genus and species), its common name, its habitat, where they occur, and their anatomy (what computer parts were used to make them). Of course, all of the descriptions are tongue in cheek. ChipScapes computer bugs make great gifts for anyone that works with computers.
The artwork is framed in a 5"x7" black wood shadow box frame, with glass. All framing materials are acid-free. A narrative about the artwork that includes the artist’s signature is placed on the back of the artwork.
Please note: The look of the artifacts in the artworks may vary, each piece is unique.
