Face Mask/Neck Gaiter - Supercomputer-on-a-Chip

About the Artwork

When the Intel i860 became available in 1989 and microprocessors were beginning to introduce mainframe-like functionality, the i860 was in a class by itself. The i860 reached a major milestone in microprocessor development by being the first to have over 1 million transistors on a single chip. The moniker of "Supercomputer on a Chip" came from the i860's supercomputer-like performance and capabilities. This image is of an i860 silicon wafer. You can see one whole chip in the center. Each chip is surrounded by silver-colored square pads used to connect the chip to the outside world.
