Amdahl's Condos - Metal Print
About the Artwork
The subject of Amdahl's Condos is a circuit board designed by Gene Amdahl (father of our large mainframe computers). It was used in Amdahl's 580 computer systems. It gave me the feeling of Florida high rise condos. I used lights on the board to give it some Miami colors. The board is shot with a macro to make the chips into high rises. Since Miami is a point on the Bermuda Triangle, multiple images were used to give it this twilight zone effect.
About the PrintBring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.
