Computer Bugs, Collection #2
About this Artwork:
Computorus Insecti (Computer Bugs) are a fact of life for programmers. Although we encounter them and feel their wrath. We never get to see what they actually look like. Here are some of the most common types of bugs for your viewing pleasure. The bugs are tiny sculptures made from recycled computer components. Each bug comes with its Latin name (genus and species), its common name, its habitat, where they occur, and their anatomy (what computer parts were used to make them). Of course, all of the descriptions are tongue in cheek.
The five bugs in this collection are:
- Trifleus Calamitus - Last Minute “Minor No QA” Change
- Phreneticus Coderus - Frenzied Coding
- Configurum Blunderus - Configuration Errors
- Omitus Codeum - Missing Code
- Exasperatus Obvioso - Surface Bug
This collection of computer bugs would make a great gift for that software engineer in your life!
The artwork is framed in an 8"x10" black shadow box frame, with glass. All framing materials are acid-free. A narrative about the artwork that includes the artist’s signature is placed on the back of the artwork.
Please note: The look of the artifacts in the artworks may vary, each piece is unique.
