Fire And Ice - Framed Print
About the Artwork
The subject of this artwork is the heatsink of an Intel Pentium II. Chips get extremely hot while they are busy doing their calculations. The heatsink draws the heat away from the chip and spreads the heat out over a much greater surface area. It dramatically cools the chip. The image was made using multiple exposures with different lighting and ... a zoom lens.
