About this Artwork

Microprocessor Montage highlights many of the microprocessor artworks I have produced for my Historical artworks. I have assembled 22 of them here. The first microprocessor, the Intel 4004, is at the center with the other major microprocessors surrounding it. This artwork is a great history of microprocessor development. The chips represented are as follows (left to right):

Top Row: IBM PowerPC 601, Intersil 6100, AMD 2901, Intel Pentium
2nd Row: Intel 8041, Zilog Z80, Rockwell PPS-4 (overlaps 4040), Intel 4040, Intel 8008
3rd Row: Intel 8086 (below 8088), Intel 8088, Intel 4004, MOS 6502
4th Row: Signetics 2650, Texas Instruments TMS1000, Intel 8080, RCA 1802
5th Row: Intel i860, Motorola 68000 (overlaps 6800), Intel 8085, AMD Athlon XP
